Krakow

Like the rest of Poland, Krakow enjoys a temperate climate. In summer, temperatures are around 20 ºC. (Minimum: 11-14 ºC., maximum: 22-25 ºC.)
Winters are cold, with an average temperature of 0 ºC. (Minimum: -7 - 0 ºC., maximum: 7 ºC.)
Spring lasts an average of 60 days and arrives in Poland from the West. During this season, temperatures range from 5 to 15  ºC. Temperatures are similar in autumn.
Krakow is close to mountains, so it snows a lot in winter. One feature of the weather in Krakow is long rainy days with heavy downpours (at times for several days running). Those heavy showers occur mainly in summer  (from June to August).
